The Midtown Men, the vocal group featuring the original Broadway cast of the smash hit musical Jersey Boys is coming to the Heinz Hall!
The Midtown Men consists of Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer. They made a name for themselves with Jersey Boys; the 2005 jukebox musical that brought to life the captivating story of the formation, success, and eventual break up of the legendary rock and pop band, The Four Seasons. Formed in 1960 (the first and best known line up featured Frankie Vallie, Tommy DeVito, Nick Massi, and Bob Gaudio), The Four Seasons went on to become one of the best selling musical groups of all time. The original line up was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999. The musical was presented in a documentary style format and consisted of 4 “seasons”, each of which was narrated by a different Midtown Men member. Backed by a seven piece band, the quartet decided to band together to become the first vocal group formed by the principal cast of a high profile Broadway show. They’ve had a stellar career with 1 studio album, 1 live album, and 1 video album.
